The Bergelson Lab explores how infants learn language from the world around them. Dr. Bergelson is interested in early lexical development, and how this interacts with other linguistic, cognitive, and social development more broadly. We work with infants between 6 months and 4 years old.

We use many methods to answer these questions, including eyetracking, head turn preference procedure, playing behavioral games, EEG, and work with corpora of audio and video recordings of a day in a baby’s life!
